The software identifies club emblems shown on a computer or TV screen, printed in a magazine or a newspaper, or even tattooed on a fan’s chest.
The app uses a pre-loaded set of sample pictures and compares the image with this set. Once a probable match is found, the application pops up its best guess and offers the user to follow a link to the club’s website.
Unlike other applications created in DataArt Computer Vision lab, this one opts to using a 3rd-party recognition engine instead of DataArt’s own. The recognition engine being used is MoodStocks, which is available for iOS and Android platforms in a variety of subscription plans – from free evaluation editions to enterprise-grade SDKs.
The application will soon be available in the AppStore. Follow us!
